"Soldiering is not Just a Job but a Patriotic Calling" UPDF Deputy Chief Political Commissar tells Kings College Buddo Students

Today 1st May 2019 a team from Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs Led by Deputy Chief Political Commissar (CPC) Col Ba-hoku Barigye has participated in a one day career's and employers expo 2018 organized under the theme " Using passion to ignite talent " at kings college Budo. While addressing the students Col Ba-hoku thanked the management of Kings College Budo for organizing the careers exhibition to enable students open their minds and their careers' path.

Col Ba-hoku told the students that soldering is not just a job but it's a patriotic calling he encouraged them to always read the constitution adding that UPDF derives its operation rights from it for example protecting her sovereignty and territorial integrity .He advised the students to read Chapter 12 article 208, 209 of the constitution which stipulates UPDF duties.

Barigye further advised the students to keep safe , read hard and then later join the forces adding that when they find themselves with UPDF in future they should get ready to serve and sacrifice for their country always.

The head teacher Mr Bakka Male Patrick thanked the exhibitors for coming to Budo College he referred to them as good people who have come to his school and he urged the students to listen carefully to all the exhibitors so that they are guided to their career passion.

The Careers Exhibition was also graced by the a team From The Ugand Peoples' Defence Air Force led by Col Charles Okidi Entebbe Airbase Wing Commander.
